Why It's Probably Not Your Willpower That's The Problem

Ever considered that it’s not you that’s the problem?

When it comes to trying to create change and stick to it, specifically with health and lifestyle-related behaviours we seem to constantly blame ourselves when things don’t go as we intended.

... I just can do it, I don’t have the willpower, I’ll never be able to change.

But what if it’s not you… what if it’s the method or plan you are trying to follow that’s actually useless?

What if the tactics you keep employing to try and lose weight are the same restrictive, completely unrealistic diets just packaged up in different forms?

The harder the diet feels, the better the results…Right? Wrong! Usually, the harder the diet feels, the more short-lived the results.

This is because you’re a human, not a robot!

You have social, physical and emotional needs and if your plan isn’t built around your likes and dislikes, pleasures, routine and preferences there is no wonder you get to Friday and just don’t have any willpower left in you to keep going. So you break, fall off the bandwagon and stay there until you decide it’s time to start all over again.

Well, it’s time for that to change. No more unsustainable diets and self-loathing every Sunday as you prepare it start again.

What I want you to do is flip the narrative and realise that you are more than capable of change, you can lose weight and keep it off and it doesn’t have to be that hard.


  • Smashing your goals week by week without resorting to drastic measures

  • Not feeling like you need to binge or have cheat days because the way you are eating is enjoyable and doesn’t leave you feeling deprived

  • Never having to psych yourself up to start all over again

These things are all possible. You just need the right approach.

So if you’re someone who feels like they have been in and out of diets, food and exercise plans for as long as they can remember and nothing has worked for them, then we need to talk.
